As we move closer toward the season of Advent, we have some texts that begin to reflect Christ's coming (return). The readings for this Sunday tell of the final resurrection and the end times. In the turmoil of hope, fear and disbelief, that the readings from Daniel and Mark provoke in us, the author of Hebrews sounds a note of confident trust. Christ makes a way for us where there is no way, and we walk confidently, trusting in God's promises.
